Bear Lawyer Receives a Less-Than-Earnest Payment

Bumbling attorney of last resort though he may often be, Bear Lawyer nevertheless takes his business very seriously, particularly when it comes time to collect long-overdue retainer fees from the various well-to-do ne’er-do-wells in his Rolodex.

  1. Normally God’s silver is coinage, but a Rolex Submariner will do. And maybe a few bob to cover time spent during this impromptu client-attorney meeting?

    • Rather, a Cosmograph Daytona in 18K white gold with diamond hour indices. There’s no accounting for taste, but it looks like Bear Lawyer may well have to credit this delinquent client’s account—maybe even kick back a few bucks for the forthcoming hospital fee.
