Bear Lawyer Reads the Verdict

Though solemnly sworn to uphold the law and to discharge the duties of attorney and counselor to the best of his grizzled ability, Bear Lawyer must admit that, in the immediate aftermath of State of Florida vs. George Zimmerman, the only worthwhile oaths he can think of do not bear repeating in polite company. Which is not to say that BL is all that surprised by the acquittal, butjustarghc’mon, now.

  1. Awwe look at him! 😀

  2. Far Away Books

    Florida has lengthy televised trials to boost the tourist economy, not to dispense justice. Hence the state motto, “In God We Trust.” Although, I do think Dante’s “Lasciate ogne speranza, voi ch’intrate” is more appropriate.

      c’hanno potenza di fare altrui male;
      de l’altre no, ché non son paurose.
